Cloudwize Technologies Pty Ltd was formed in 2015 following the acquisition and merger of several businesses, each of which had been successfully operating in the technology sector for up to 20 years. While our DNA draws upon the history of our predecessors, Cloudwize Technologies is also the product of the hard work and commitment of today’s Cloudwize team.
We have an outstanding reputation for customer care, service quality and delivering on our commitments. Our core values of integrity, respect, professionalism and fairness underpin every decision that we make. We are passionate about making technology work and making technology deliver results for our clients.
While we have clients located around Australia, our greatest strength is supporting the technology needs of regional business clients located in the New England, North West and Central West of NSW. We have technicians based in Tamworth and Dubbo ensuring we have the coverage required to get to even our remotest client site in an emergency.
We know that one size does not fit all. For that reason we choose to only work with like minded clients: clients who understand that their network is a fundamental platform for their operation and as such must be regularly serviced and tuned to be in peak operating condition; clients who are looking for a partner, not any old supplier; clients who value their network and our contribution to its effectiveness.
For these reasons, we will only partner with clients under a support agreement and we will not compromise on minimum standards of data protection and equipment specifications. In return, we will be there when you need us. We will do what it takes to get you operational in the event of a disaster. We will work with you to ensure that no matter what the future path of technology is, you will have the right tools available for your business and the right partner to make that journey with you.
Cloudwize Technologies is owned by Tamworth couple, Daniel Sherwood and Jo Byrnes. Both originally from Tamworth, they enjoyed successful careers in the broader corporate world before settling back in their hometown. The blending together of their complementary business management and technical skillsets has created a unique offering in the regional technology space.
Jo Byrnes brings a wealth of business and people management expertise to the Cloudwize team. She was previously Chief Strategy Officer & Group HR with Tamex Transport for six years, and concurrently managed businesses within the company’s investment portfolio. Prior to this, Jo spent 17 years in the financial markets in Sydney and Melbourne progressing through roles in economic analysis, investment analysis, corporate finance and investor relations, including management of a $204 million share market float. She was General Manager, Corporate Services & Corporation Secretary for Treasury Corporation of Victoria managing strategy, legal, compliance, marketing and communications. Returning to her hometown in 2006, Jo spent three years as Executive Director of Tamworth Regional Development Corporation Ltd. Jo has also served as Chairman of the Board of Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music, Chairman of the Cancer Council’s Regional Advisory Committee and was a member of the board of the Rural Clinical School. Jo is a qualified practitioner of Kaplan & Norton’s Balanced Scorecard methodology and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Daniel Sherwood is one of the region’s leading IT professionals and was instrumental in founding our document management business in 2008. Daniel brings to Cloudwize significant industry experience in a broad array of technologies and disciplines, ranging from data centre design to consolidation of infrastructure using virtualisation and cloud technologies through to IT strategic planning.
